Collector’s Edition Print
This evocative portrait, created in the early 1970s, showcases Joe Harris’s groundbreaking experimentation with emerging technologies.
Using xerography — an innovative color copier art technique still in its infancy — Harris pushed the boundaries of traditional photography to create new, dynamic visual narratives. His pioneering work in this medium was supported by Xerox, who provided Harris with a state-of-the-art color copier to explore the creative possibilities of reproduction technology at a time when few artists had access to such tools.
Printed on Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl — a premium 100% cotton paper prized for its subtle sheen and vibrant color reproduction — the image has been meticulously optimized for exceptional clarity and depth, preserving the texture and spirit of Harris’s original hands-on techniques.
Mounted on Alu-Dibond 0.12" for enduring stability and framed with a Basel 1.2" Black Oak float frame, the final presentation offers a strong, elegant profile.
The 24 × 29.1" image is finished with external framed dimensions of 27 × 32.1", creating a commanding yet intimate presence on the wall.
Each piece is individually numbered, estate-stamped, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity from the Estate of Joe Harris.
Only five editions of this work will be released.
